The el Camino Travel Blanket

Wherever your journey, keep it cozy.

Curl up with your new favourite blanket, handmade for you using sustainably sourced alpaca wool and traditional Indigenous weaving patterns from South America. This blanket is perfect for everyday use, in your home office, living room, cabin or fireside. Stash it into your carry-on and you are good to go anywhere life takes you.

Feel good and look great. We believe the el Camino will become your must-have piece around the home and everywhere you travel.

This blanket was woven by a member of the Aymar Sawuri cooperative in Iquique, northern Chile. Aymar Sawuri has 15 master weavers that weave traditional values and stories into every piece they make. All materials are sourced locally from the Chilean Antiplano, high in the Andes and home to the driest desert in the world. Living in such an extreme environment has instilled a deep appreciation and interdependent relationship between the Aymara community and the natural environment. This means that all of the textiles the cooperative produces are sourced in a responsible manner that protects natural resources and promotes sustainable economic growth.

The smaller of our two blankets, the el Camino Blanket is 100 cm wide by 135 cm long. It is perfect to cozy up in at the office, keep you warm en route to your next destination or warm up your feet at the base of a Queen or King bed.

Our all-natural alpaca wool is 100% hypoallergenic and uses no artificial dyes or colours.

Super high quality scarves, with beautiful designs.

The Florezca scarves are so soft and versatile. I wear mine on planes, trains and biking all the time

Alena Mehlau, Berlin.

I am in love with this luscious poncho! Everything about it is soft - the way it feels, the way it drapes, even the colours. These weavers are super talented and I'm so glad this piece came to live with me. I am especially grateful to have more natural fibres in my house, what with the baby putting everything in his mouth these days!!

Sharon Abel, Toronto.

"I cannot wait to answer the question "Where did you get your face mask?" I feel both Pandemic Prepared and a true global citizen!"

Becca McC, Ottawa-Gatineau

I ordered 3 of these scarves and they are incredible - beautifully designed and the quality of wool and weaving is wonderful. I'm also super impressed with the sustainable business model Florezca has developed. Highly recommended!
